MAGISTRATE: We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of (groom) and (bride).

May (groom) and (bride) be a blessing and comfort to each other. May they share each other’s joys, console each other in sorrow, help each other in all of life’s adventures. May they encourage each other in whatever they set out to achieve. May they, trusting each other, trust life and be unafraid. May they, loving each other, offer love and support to those around them.

(groom) and (bride), as an expression that your hearts are joined together in love, please join your hands.

(groom), do you take (bride) to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to love, honor, respect, and protect her? Share the good times and achievements as well as the hard times and disappointments? Keep her in sickness and in sorrow and to be faithful to her forevermore?

GROOM: I do
