The website washington-dc-metro.com is a unique and candid look at the Washington, D.C. area Metro Transit System from an insider’s perspective.

Beyond just reflecting upon Metro itself, the site explores how larger organizations can become victim to their own mismanagement and disorganization.

Much of what makes the site interesting are the photos. The insights presented through the writing are also entertaining. For example, a photo in a recent post shows a nut without threads. Apparently these defective items were purchased by Metro and nothing was ever done about it. See photo below.
