Summary. The Mormon Church recently launched a very high quality video campaign presenting a series of video vignettes showing the lives of diverse Mormons. These videos always ended with the statement, “and I’m a Mormon.”
In reaction to the advertising campaign, ex-Mormons created a similar video campaign with video vignettes showing ex-Mormons. These videos end with the statement, “and I’m an ex-Mormon.” The group also launched an ex-Mormon website. Some examples of their videos are found below. The videos are skillfully produced to have the same production quality and sincere testimonials that make the Mormon Church videos appealing.
