iPhone Gloves For Use in Winter Cold and Inclimate Weather

Effective Living > Technology > Apple > iPhone

Problem. The iPhone has a touch sensitive screen that requires bare skin for operation.  In cold weather, colder climates,  or  inclement weather, it is uncomfortable to use the device with bare hands. It isn’t possible to use the device while wearing gloves.

Solution. Using a pair of jersey gloves, it is possible to cut the tip out of the right hand (or left hand) index finger. If the cut is made on the lower half of the index finger tip, it is possible to stitch the cut area. In this way, the finger can be extended through the hole and then put back inside the glove when not using the iPhone. The gloves will continue to provide warmth while permitting use of the iPhone.
