Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse Version 2.0

Today I was working at someone’s computer and noticed how comfortable and light their mouse was. It was the Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse Version 1.0.
I was so impressed with it that I went right out and purchased one for about $15 at our locally owned office supply store, Iowa Book and Supply. The current model is the Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse Version 2.0 (model number 1113).
Previously, my favorite mouse was the Logitech Value Optical Mouse M-BT96a (P/N: 831087/A000) at a cost of about $8.
The Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse is lighter and also wider than the Logitech Optical Mouse. For me, the fit is just right.
Also, the clicking and scrolling actions have a slightly dampened but audible clicking sound that I find more appealing. The tracking of the Microsoft mouse seems to be more precise than the Logitech.
