  • Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). A membership-based association of colleges and universities working to advance sustainability in higher education in the US and Canada.
  • BigGreenSummer.com – Big Green Summer grew out of an informal internship program started in 1998 at Surya Nagar Farm (Iowa and Hawaii – http://www.solarfarm.com) and in 2000 at Abundance Ecovillage (Iowa – http://www.abundance-ecovillage.com) that has served hundreds of students. This program was developed and directed by Big Green Summer founders Lonnie and Valerie Gamble.
  • Center for Environmentally Beneficial Catalysts – “Catalysts are substances which speed up the conversion of raw materials to useful products. The action of a catalyst is termed “catalysis” and the manufacturing process that uses a catalyst is termed a “catalytic process”. Many everyday products are manufactured using catalytic processes, including gasoline, detergents, synthetic fibers and pharmaceutical drugs. The vision of the CEBC is to make available to industry “sustainable” manufacturing processes–in other words, improved processes that minimize their “environmental footprint” while remaining profitable.” More…

  • RenewFairfield.com – Online encyclopedia of resources and information. “This web site was begun as a collaborative project in the fall of 2006 by the students of a solar energy course (titled”The Energy Basis of Man and Nature“), which is part of the four-year Sustainable Living Program at Maharishi University of Management.”
