Summary. We all have administrative tasks that are the basic maintenance required for life. By doing these tasks in a single day, there is less chaos and clutter throughout the week. Think of time and events as if they were spatial. So, the week, like a room, can have things placed around it in an orderly way. Tasks might include laundry, financial administration, hair cut, bike maintenance, and/or nail care. Having a weekly routine can help bring order to otherwise chaotic and sporadic tasks. - Give. Consider giving of your time by volunteering for a local cause or initiative you believe in. Review the Guide to Activism found at the Activist Resource Group.
- Health Checkup. At the least, on a weekly basis, it is a good idea to give yourself a health assessment. Checking your acupressure points is a quick and easy way to assess your overall health.
- Socialize. Aside from daily social contact at work and elsewhere, it is important to maintain a regular group of people to build strong relationships around a purpose or cause other than your vocation. Religious or civic involvement are common and help combine social activities with spiritual development or community action.
- Website Statistics. If you manage a website you should be keeping track of visitor stats with a service such as StatCounter. Such services offer the ability to download log files. If these are not downloaded, new data replaces the old data. By downloading log files on a weekly basis (or as needed) it is possible to maintain your own off-line archive of detailed log files.
