ResourcesForLife.com – News 201511 | 29 November 2015 | Sunday

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the November 2015 newsletter. I hope you’re doing well.

Personal Update

My Personal Update for November is now available. If we’re not already connected on Facebook, I invite you to Like my page and also visit my AboutGregJohnson.com website.

NPR Interview

On Thanksgiving, NPR broadcasted a previously recorded interview that I’d done a while back. For those who missed it, here’s a link.

Writings

This past month there’ve been a few articles posted to the RFL website including one about the Paris tragedy and another posting of George Bush’s comments about Islam following the events of 9/11.

REI Black Friday Blackout #OptOutside

On the biggest retail day of the year, REI closed all of their 143 stores nation-wide and paid their 12,000 employees to spend time in nature. Over 1.2 million people participated in the event, and embraced the great outdoors rather than fighting it out in stores. Below are some videos about the event.

Heart Songs

This month’s Heart Songs selection Save my Night by Armin van Burren. This song was featured in an experiment conducted by Heineken. In the Heineken research, it was determined that better music results in less alcohol consumption, reduced sales, and reduced profits. What did Heineken do after conducting the research? They began promoting good music. Note: If an ad appears overlaid on the video, feel free to click the little gray ‘x’ box in the top right corner of the ad to remove it.

Thanks. I want to thank the global team of volunteers, contributors, and workers “behind the scenes” who help make all this possible. I’m very grateful to the many people who continue to uphold and advance the mission of Resources for Life. Thanks again for your support. Please let me know if there is any way that Resources for Life can serve you better.

Regards,
Greg
