Dear Friend,

I hope you’re doing well. Thanks for taking time to read the Resources for Life monthly newsletter.

This month’s newsletter is written using the new Gutenberg editor available in the latest version of WordPress. It’s a block editor that will likely become a standard that replaces the classic WordPress editor over the next year. I’m planning to be an early adopter of the new editor.

Personal Update

My Personal Update for December is now available. If we’re not already connected on Facebook, I invite you to Like my page and also visit my AboutGregJohnson.com website. I’m slowly shifting from Facebook and other social media to putting content on my personal website where people can signup for updates.

Topics and Writings

This month I shared many positive posts and articles. Here’s a sampling of what you’ll find on the Recent Content page.

Heart Songs

This month’s Heart Songs selection is “Federkleid” by FAUN, a German band formed in 1998 who play pagan folk, darkwave and medieval music. Federkleid is a track from their new album Midgard.

“Federkleid” – English Translation

Over the heath-land, in the first morning glow
The birds soar, where might they be tomorrow?
I follow the rustling of wings in the silent marsh
Through the mists, ancient songs come pressing forth

Come and fly away with us!
Let the wind carry you
Far away from this place!
Come and fly as high as you can
Let us chase the skies
In dance!

Silken mists
Brush so cool against my skin
Farther and farther
Where do I find the destination I yearn for?
I close my eyes
And feathers sprout upon me
Already I feel the wind
And spread my wings wide

Come and fly away with us!
Let the wind carry you
Far away from this place!
Come and fly as high as you can
Let us chase the skies
In dance!

The heaven in you
How can I know her, can she see?
We dance in flight
Like stars that race along their paths

Come and fly away with us!
Let the wind carry you
Far away from this place!
Come and fly as high as you can
Let us chase the skies
In dance!

Thanks

I want to thank the global team of volunteerscontributors, and workers “behind the scenes” who help make all this possible. I’m very grateful to the many people who continue to uphold and advance the mission of Resources for Life. Thanks again for your support. Please let me know if there is any way that Resources for Life can serve you better.

Regards,
Greg
